#50, 7 songs i haven’t stopped listening to since the turn of the millennium

Since the turn of the millennium there are things I’ve been reluctant to let go of. Things that I’ve kept near and dear to my heart without guilt or apology. Lyrics and melodies that remain untainted by age or the fact that by now I should really know better (because, infinitely some music will always be cool and some music will always be uncool).

Nonetheless, I am willing to share with you today, and today only, (in the loose meaning of “today only” by which I mean immortalised forever in text published on the internet) the seven songs I haven’t stopped listening to since the turn of the millennium.

  1. I Try, Macy Gray
  2. Crazy, Gnarls Barkley
  3. Deceptacon, Le Tigre
  4. Up the Bracket, The Libertines
  5. Digital Love, Daft Punk
  6. Road Trippin’, Red Hot Chilli Peppers
  7. Doo Wop (That Thing), Lauryn Hill

Touch that dial and it might cost you a finger.
